Her friends, however, see a very different side of her! With those she trusts, Adelaide is a very boisterous, energetic, and cheery kalon. She tries to be very positive, but it's not uncommon for her to drop an offhanded, depressing remark every now and then. She's often very jumpy and will flinch over the smallest touch.
dommy / bigender / looking for: friends, enemies, crewmatesDommy is a shy, insecure, slightly depressed little kalon who just wants to be loved and left alone. They struggle with identity issues and dislike being the center of attention. Oral presentations in school are their worst nightmare, to the point where some teachers don't make them do them at all because of the meltdown it induces. They keep little 'comfort objects' with them at all times, mostly native american arrowheads that they collect. However, when they're out of the spotlight, they can be very different. Dommy can be quite the little daredevil! They are, however, very clumsy. They often suffers injuries from their stunts and collects hospital bill receipts, much to their parents' annoyance. While they are very introverted, Dommy does enjoy being around a few close friends and their three siblings. They are oddly forgiving and don't mind if others are rude or snap at them, as long as they apologize afterwards. Oddly enough, Dommy has a slightly sadistic nature, which fits well with their pirate life. They are the first mate of the ship, alongside their wife, The Jackal.
tone / female / looking for: friendsTone is what her mother often refers to as an "oddly well-behaved teenager." She's very intelligent and mature. She'd rather have a political debate than gossip about Brad's new hairdo or Brittany's new shoes. Tone radiates confidence and charisma and always seems to be around other kalons, whether it's her family, friends, or simply whoever sits next to her on the bus. She enjoys showing off her talents -- hypermobility and a strange talent at training animals -- and absolutely adores meeting new kalons. She seems to have no shame and will admit even the most embarrassing secret. It's a widely accepted fact that she is the queen of truth or dare and other such games: nobody is quite as brave as Tone is when it comes to following through on a tough dare. This little golden girl never skips homework, never cheats, never lies, and never sneaks out. She'll forgive and accept everyone, no matter what, and really just wants you to be friends with her. However, most kalons think there's something going on under the surface of little miss perfection.
the jackal / female / looking for: friends, enemies, crewmatesShe's very active and tends to fidget/twitch/vibrate if she tries to sit still. The Jackal is very athletic and is skilled in a variety of things, such as gymnastics, fencing, hand-to-hand combat, archery, flight, swimming, and anything that involves a knife. (She refuses to use guns and is pretty useless when it comes to planning.) As soon as she was old enough, she basically bought a pirate ship, found a crew, said goodbye to her sister and bolted out of her homeland. She liked the power she got from being in a rich, well-known family, but she wanted to earn that power. She wanted to strike fear into the hearts of kalons everywhere, and now goes by the pirate title The Jackal instead of her birth name, Juno.
treecat / female / looking for: mates, breeding partners, enemiesTreecat is a nature-loving kalon. She has a sweet and friendly disposition, always leaping to help anyone who needs it. She also has a competitive streak, becoming extremely win-orientated over even small things, like a game of scrabble. She's mildly obsessed with falconry and tends to hoard small objects.

Parker Bellare / gender / looking for: friends, enemies, mates, breeding partnersParker is often described as an 'acquired taste.' She pretty much does what she wants in terms of clothes, musical taste, social class, and anything else that is normally influenced by the crowd. She figures that someone is going to judge her, dislike her, or even pick on her no matter what she does, so why not do something she enjoys? She's extremely confident in any way and isn't afraid to stand up for herself and others. In fact, since an early age, she's shown an empathetic streak and often defends her peers against bullies. P.B. is often considered to be overly generous and trusting, leaving herself vulnerable for others to take advantage of. Although she's very street smart, school has never been her strong suit. She has a poor work ethic unless she actually cares about something in the project, and let's face it... it's impossible for her to care about her seventh five paragraph essay on cloud types this year. Because of all her incomplete work, she nearly flunks out every year, just barely managing to pull her grades up at the end of each semester. She has a bit of an anger issue and tends to get in fights instead of talking things out with others. She's constantly on the move and always has to experience somewhere new -- the same boring old routine gets under her skin quickly if she doesn't change it up.

She thinks she looks ugly and brutish, which probably lead to her low self esteem. She's very clever, but never did well in school, and thus thinks she's dumb. She distracts herself by tending to injured animals she finds, and often has an entourage of animals following her. She is quite gentle when she isn't trying to impress someone.
anahita / female / looking for: friends, enemies, matenote - anahita is an adult, just waiting on her growthAnahita is a bold but skittish kalon who often displays an incredibly selfishness streak. She's quiet but witty and often very sad. Ana frequently jokes about her problems instead of solving them. Growing up, she was good at being a pirate, but once she was old enough she ditched the ship and went back to land. She now lives in a small log cabin in the woods, raising her younger half sister Cait.
cait / female / looking for: friends, enemies, a crushCait was sent to live on land due to her odd opposition to pirating -- strange, for a half-demon like herself. She's not friendly, but she'll be polite to new kalons. You have to earn her friendliness, and you will also have to earn her rudeness- if she thinks you deserve to be treated kindly, she will treat you kindly. If she feels that you deserve to be disliked, she will act rude and harsh towards you. Besides this she maintains a stoic neutrality to everything she does. She has a habit of flaunting her unique horns, tail, fur, shine, ears - you name it, she'll show it off. Earn her trust, and you will have a blindly faithful demon guarding you for the rest of your life, no matter how cruel to her you are.
