So, I know this is currently off the topic, but I did want to talk about some theory I had.
For some reason, I feel like Peridot has some undiscovered power, that is yet to be revealed.
I've seen a few people who thought the same, but I would like to know what others may think about it too.
Or perhaps this less likely theory, that YD lied to her about being an "era 2 peridot" for some reason.
I think that one is pretty unlikely, but what do you think about the first one?
I don't know really, just a simple theory I came up with.

WOW. It does look like her! It would actually make sense for this since isn't this scene's room near Blue diamond's room? So if Lapis was under command of Blue diamond, Her being there would make sense? Not sure if color is also an important thing but the other two are also blue?

;;I like to think that gems don't actually have to 'add' anything extra to create a gem with powers and that powers, a summoned weapon, fusion, and other gem capabilities are just things that all gems, no matter the era, are created with. It does bring up and interesting question, however, about why Peridot didn't know that she had powers, and I think there are two likely reasons;

1) The diamonds, and all gems for that matter (or most of them, at least), don't actually know that you don't need to add anything to the formula to get gems with powers. I don't think this one is very likely, which bring me to

2) The diamonds lied to era 2 gems about not having powers. I think this one makes much more sense as the diamonds would definitely have wanted to prevent any more rebellion uprisings, and what better way to stop such things as to tell the new gems that they're much much weaker then the older ones?

i agree with the second theory more. i - personally - believe it's more possible for era two gems to have been lied to to prevent a second uprising

Hm so to add to that theory, If the diamonds are based off real diamonds which are actually really weak, That would make tons of sense. They would want the newer gems to think they are weak so the diamonds don't have to worry about anything. I wonder who the strongest gem is? It seems gems in the show are based off real gems in color and maybe strength?
