Yes I greatly recommend you read MTMTE and Lost Light, it's amazing! I think it deliberately focuses on giving more characterisation to Transformers who previously have only really been either minor or just existing as a toy, and some characters are totally new and don't even have a toy to begin with (*cough*Rung*cough*) which is why you won't recognise them, but we love them anyway. I could go on for hours about how amazing MTMTE is so I'd best stop here X3

im reading phase 1 first because i like doing things in order but i have really bad eyesight so it takes me a long time to read stuff -.- i just wanna catch up before the universe endss

Hmm... Perhaps if you listen to comic fandubs on youtube or some such it'll help since you won't have to focus on the words, just the artwork?

So, my Jazz has shipped, photos to come when he arrives. annnnd...guess who else I goooooot? I found a Prowl today for fifteen dollars less than the one I was looking at before. His windscreen is broken off, but it's a near-identical break to the other one and will only need some gluing and a discreet bit of bracing. I can't remember if I mentioned it before or not, but I also picked up some fresh stickers for both him and Jazz. I know the serious collectors out there would cringe and/or yell at me for even considering restickering them, but some of their labels are kinda toasted and I value looks more than dollar value. I'm going to assess both of them when they arrive and see how many of the originals I can preserve-Prowl's door stickers, for example, look pretty much pristine so I probably won't touch those, but the ones on his hips and some other parts seem pretty worn.

oooooo im so happy for u!!!! and i totally agree about the looks thing--id much rather have a nice looking toy rather than one that looks like its been thrown in a washing machine a few times

Thanks! Glad you all think so. I have seen some...uh...silliness, shall we say, on the subject of things like replacing trashed stickers from some really hardcore collectors. A not-insignificant number would rather have a 100% original bot that looks like it got dragged through a scrapheap than even consider restickering . I...am not one of those people. >< I will sacrifice a little bit of vintage-ness for the sake of having a bot that doesn't look like he's been mauled by Ravage.

heres a pic of all three with their accessories (starscream also came with two stands and a third of a clear plastic starscream but i didnt take pics of that :P

oh right and i threw in takara legends arcee for a size reference! also the red sword came as a bonus with arcee not windblade


i LOVE their face sculpts so muchhhhh theyre so. freaking. adorable. TuT now originally i was rly disappointed i missed out on regular windblade but this repaint is gorgeous


starscream is just perfect imo. like the only way he could be better is if he had a cutesy face too :3c guess the smirk will have to do! his coronation outfit is completely removable but the pauldrons are a little tough to get on so i didnt wanna take them off again. he also has a megatron gun with multiple removable parts and a second head that is the exact same as the other one except for the crown i believe


theyre very poseable too which is awesome considering arcee and windblade are only a little taller than my index finger. arcee and star have waist/chest rotation and stars gots ankle rotation! theres so many little details too and they all have metallic/pearlescent paint that looks beautiful. i love these things to death already >w<

in conclusion: iron factory pleas make a tiny wheel,jack..i have money
