Oh man, so colourful...

Unhatched eggs hatch into first gens (but you probably already knew that).
First gens have the advantage of being able to breed with any dragon of the opposite sex, as they don't have a family line to worry about, which was a bigger deal back when there weren't two billion dragons on the the site.
For me, they offer the challenge and the opportunity to gene them myself, so that they come to realize an identity in my lair. C:
I mean, what else was I going to do with that treasure, haha.

What's the most treasure/gems you have spent at one time?

Hmmmmm not sure exactly how much in pure treasure and gems went into Senpai, around 10mil treasure and maybe close to 40kg in gems? Not even including the items, my most expensive purchase xD

Wow that apparel goes so nicely with that skin. Not usually a fan of rainbow/ neon dragons but this one is great. <3

Unhatched eggs are just a way to introduce new dragons into the site in a way other than breeding. When you open them, you get a randomly generated hatchling.

Also, first gens are typically only popular when they have complimentary colors, matching eyes, or are XXY/XYX/XYY because the statistical probability of a randomly generated dragon being any of these things is low. I, personally, also like seeing this:

What's the most treasure/gems you have spent at one time?
I'm a very cheap person so I don't spend money often, but the most gems I've spent was 500-750 gems an accent.
