Anyway, I saw this theory on the Internet & I thought it was interesting.
Some people think Adrien's mom died, while others say she just left her family. In this theory, we're following the idea of her leaving.
What if she was a Miraculous holder? I mean, this is a very tight idea, but think of it this way; she's either scared that her family will stop her from being a hero because its 'too dangerous,' or she's scared that it could bring her family in danger, thus why she left.

This next explanation has spoilers from the Origin episodes & a bit of Simon Says.
As of now, this is our Miraculous situation: (as seen in the Origin episodes & hinted in the intro)
Ladybug earrings : Marinette - Chat Noir ring : Adrien - Butterfly brooch : Hawkmoth (speculated (not confirmed) to be Gabriel Agreste a.k.a. Adrien's dad) - Turtle bracelet : Master Fu - Fox necklace : no owner, still with Master Fu. Known to be with Volpina (undebuted heroine), but in the Origin episode, it is still in Master Fu's jewellry box - Bee comb (honey comb hahh aAAH) : no owner, still with Master Fu
As of now, we know where the Miraculouses are. Except one. The Peacock Miraculous.
In the 1st Origin episode, it is no longer in Master Fu's box, so we can suspect that he has already given it to someone or he 'lost it,' like what he did with the Butterfly brooch. People suspect the Peacock to be an unannounced & undebuted hero, but what if it was actually Adrien's mom? She was seen wearing blue in her one appearance in "Simon Says." I know that's a huge stretch, but their clothing can actually hint things sometimes (i.e. Marinette having polka dots in her blazer, Adrien wearing a black shirt.)
Let's imagine Adrien's mother was the Peacock heroine & Gabriel was Hawkmoth. What if they found out about each other's identities? This could explain why Gabriel was so affected by her, & so she left, not wanting to fight with the man she loved.

Many people have the theory that Nathalie was the previous Ladybug because of how much her clothing and look matches up to Ladybug's color scheme. She even has the same hair and eye color that Marinette has. It's certainly far fetched but it would be quite interesting if it were to turn out that way.

No, no. Maybe your theories are right; it would be interesting to find out that Adrien's mom was the previous Chat Noir with a different name. And I see where you're coming from. We honestly don't know a whole lot about Nathalie so it's extremely hard to tell. For all we know, Thomas did it just to throw us off or it was just a mere coincidence.
