Just got the Vader castle set. Anyone else here spending ridiculous amounts of money on LEGOs?

Whoa. That thing is awesome. I saw it in an ad once with the caption "There's a story behind every gift..." and most likely Lego didn't want people looking at the price tag...

The Vader set is incredible, by the way. It took me a few hours to build, but it was definitely worth my time. It's a couple of feet tall and looks stunning. Bonus is windows made from trans red bricks that you can shine a light through-- it makes it look really sinister. I'm planning to get some little LED lights to wire through there. I imagine a light in the middle of the bacta tank in the center would look really nice as well (don't they seem to glow a bit?)

I went to Disneyland on the way back from vacation and got a lightsaber. It's basically an overpriced flashlight but I'm hilariously excited about it xD

There's actually a website called UltraSabers that sells lots of different custom lightsabers. From the hilt, the color of the blade, just about everything on their lightsabers is customizable

I've seen UltraSabers before, but their cheapest lightsaber (which is the Initiate V2 and has a two-foot blade for kids) is $55 without any customizations. Disney sells a single-bladed saber for $29.99, which is about what I'm willing to pay.

I've got the delux force awakens kylo ren lightsaber. It doesn't collapse all the way, but it's got lights and sound effects so that's cool.

..i like to chase my siblings around the house with it

True, but I think the extra money is worth it depending on the saber. If you want a simple basic saber, Disney is good, if you want something that stands out, UltraSabers is the way to go. UltraSabers has lots of cool features, including a system that lets you change the color of your saber on the RGB scale. They can be expensive, especially the more detailed sabers, but it's worth it IMO
