What are you supposed to do when someone who you sent a trick or treat to sends one back, and your lights were clearly off for the night? :U

Since your lights were off, you can just simply trick them.

You can send them a trick, or you can just explain that your lights were off and tell them that they can resend when you turn them back on.


Anyone else having an issue with people just not responding at all? I have a couple of people who I trick-or-treated from but never got a response. I don't recall having this much of a problem in past years. Sure, there's always a few non responders, but this year I already have about 20 people who just haven't responded at all, and I PM'ed them a week ago or more. A couple of them did say that they've been swamped and will be responding slowly. That doesn't bother me at all. But I may actually report a couple of people who I've PM'ed multiple times without a response, even though it's been over a week, their lights are on, they've been on, and they've been posting. Not sure if maybe they don't know that they have to send a PM saying "trick" if they choose not to send a treat, or if they're just ignoring me.

I am currently awaiting the response of 121 people. Probably about half of these are just sent though. I'm going to not send any more messages for 5 days and then re-count and re-send the ones who haven't responded.

And yeah I know it's a lot of messages... I have actually gone through all 842 people and TOTed the ones with their lights on. It only took me 8 or 9 days doing 2-3 hours each night. Plus I found about 10 rule breakers which I reported.

Now I'll wait 5 days and then repeat the process again Maybe I'm a bit obsessed with this... oh well *shrugs*

Pet's name: MR. Trick

A large cobweb covered door that you currently stood in front of slung open exposing a dark hallway and a opened Mummy coffin. Scared you put your ears back and called out again, loud cackles began to reverberate off of the walls as well as horrifying shrieks of bats coming towards you and you ducked to let them pass and when looking back you see a strange dog and it said shaking evily putting a paw on the coffin "Greetings young child, would you care to take a walk through our house and say hello to this friend of mine?" a voice called from behind you causing you to quickly turn on your heals and face a horrifying Mummy cat

Pet's name: Hallow <3
"Come Come Let me show you my coffin! it is really nice in there! I bet you can sleep in peace in it for years to come" The cat started to purr in a scary way and you took a few steps backwards colliding into a grave stone and More loud cackles boomed across the porch and from behind you, sending more bats your way and now trembling you quickly scrambled across the porch and made a leap for the ground in hopes of escaping the crazy maniacs "Do come back my dear! MY friend Mr Joker and I have lots of things we are dying to show you!" you heard echoing from down the street as the crazed MR. Joker smiled showing his razor sharp teeth before disappearing back into the house with his 'friend'

It looks like you were tricked, let's hope that you won't ever have to see those Pets again again!

That looks a lot like my trick story Fizzy, I'm not trying to be rude but it's really not okay to take someone else's trick story and change around a few words and then claim it as your own.

This is my trick story, I've had it since LOLO started:

"Greetings young child, would you care to take a walk through our house of fun?" a voice called from behind you causing you to quickly turn on your heals and face a horrifying jester "Come Come Let me show you all that I have in store for you!" doe eyes widened and you took a few steps backwards colliding into something or someone. More loud cackles boomed across the porch and from behind you, now trembling you quickly scrambled across the porch and made a leap for the ground in hopes of escaping the crazy maniacs "Do come back my dear! MY friend Bonzai and I have tons of things we are dying to show you!" you heard echoing from down the street as the crazed jester smiled showing his razor sharp teeth before disappearing back into the house with his 'friend'

It's alright Fizzy, I'm just glad that we could get it all sorted out. I've had a few issues this year with people copyrighting my stories and a few of them were really nice about changing it as where others pretty much started yelling at me and saying that I copied their story. Which turns into a huge mess, even when I try to be nice to them they just completely lash out on me. But it's fine, like I said i'm glad we could sort this all out instead of having it turn into a big argument! Hope you have a great time trick-or-treating and giving out treats. We'll try and make this LOLO as memorable as we can for you!
