I have some exciting news, everyone! I ordered a piece of art of Leilani and Ordell from the amazing Zombo, and now this user is working on my artpiece! He/she just finished up the initial sketch and a bit of the lining, and I wanted to share the WIP with you (and asked permission from Zombo first, so it's a-okay for me to share it). I'll be sure to post the finished art when it's done, but this is a VERY difficult order, so I'm expecting a long wait, which I really don't mind - I'll wait for as long as I have to if I get something as amazing as I know this will be in response.

Some things with Traits!
So, as you may or may not know, there now exists a small thread for Viscet mutations. This is because, while I absolutely love and support line edits/variations/creativity, there obviously has to be a limit of some sort and I can't just let people go all crazy. So now, there is a general reference as to what kinds of traits they can be and how often you should see them.
There was some speculation about how some traits would fit on the thread; for example, Synthesa's crazy freaking hair. However, I've decided that any large-scale mane mutation such as that would just count as Complex Hair, a new Mane mutation which affects the entire mane instead of just the head. It, just like hair, is customizeable and may vary, just so long as it is realistically shaped (i.e. no elaborate shapes). Horns have also been clashed--rather than Straight, Rounded, and Budded, they all just count as Smooth Horns, aka, horns with a simple shape, while Spiked Horns are now Jagged Horns, aka horns with a not-so-simple shape. This should now include every type of horns ever made on a Viscet.
I'm pretty sure this should take care of any mutation which might have previously been confusing, and no line edits in the past should be effected by the creation of the mutations guide.

I don't know if I've made an announcement about it yet, but there's also such thing as Event-Rares! These are basically traits that, when breeding, have the same chance as Rares, but they are only released at events. They include things like blank/solid eyes (no pupil), raptor-claws, or even perhaps mist-mane or goop. A lot is still under consideration and we're always accepting suggestions!
