xxy is when a dragon's first two colors are the exact same. e.g. sky/sky/lemon is a xxy since the first two are the same color.

For the second question, the value more has to do with collectors-although older dragons are less likely to be related or far back in the bloodlines enough with newer dragons so they could breed together.

1: And XXY is a dragon with two of the same color as their primary and secondary colors. You can also have XXX which are all the same color and XYY which is a dragon with the same color for their secondary and tert colors.

2: The number of digits for a dragons ID tells you how old it it. The less or lower digits mean the older they are which means more value in some occasions. It's also just cool to have them.
