2016 groups aren't considered "new" anymore?

I feel old.

to be honest, i don't think 2016 groups are new, i find it weird for them to have debuted 2 years ago and considered new, they're really popular too (nct) which is why i feel like they are not a new group, they're not an old group either lol.

tbh i'm 100% definitely biased towards nct but i feel like stray kids and blackpink already have a lot of recognition?? like tbh i'd love to see nct get the spotlight, they've worked so hard and done an amazing job in 2018. and nct is building up to be something amazing, the community and everything is just.. s o good??????? like??

hldkf idk what im saying but i really feel like nct deserves it after all theyve done, the memes, the community, their songs, their personalities - amazing, they really have done a lot for the kpop world especially since they're a slightly more new group.

had 2 edit this bc it sounded weird but note that i LOVE blackpink, not super into stray kids but i've heard really good things about them?? i just .. i love nct the boys need recognition and love

nct seems pretty intimidating to learn at first but it's actually not that bad. for me i started by just learning the nct dream members, then i gradually got to know the rest. watching their vlive show nct life really helped me! also i can teach anyone about them if they want! and stan doyoung he's perfect uwu

i forgot who it was but someone mentioned stray kids get a lot of recognition. in some areas they do(mainly yt views, i think theyre already at 20MIL on my pace). they arent very popular in south korea though(which is/was got7s problem). i gotta give it to the fans though, theyve sold over 20k sales for their recent album, which is pretty good for their 1st?2nd? comeback.

for their recent comeback, they didnt chart on any korean music chart besides bugs(65 i think) and on melon they were around the 600’s. not too sure about other charts. so yes and no in some areas of recognition, overall theyre fairly unknown.

but i do agree that nct deserve more recognition, theyve been worked really hard this year to produce comebacks, so i hope they garner more fans over time. in which, in excited for nct china to debut.

has it already been two years since nct debuted ??? I can't believe it,,,,,it feels like they debuted maybe six — twelve months ago and I've been a fan since they first released the 7th sense. I guess time really does fly by quickly,,,,,I'm so happy with how far they've gotten and how big their fan base has grown! it's absolutely massive nowadays <3

I've only listened to a few songs by stray kids, but so far I like them !! district 9 isn't what I'd typically listen to, but hellevator has a really nice prechorus and drop imo. I definitely look forward to more songs from them, even if I'm not a stan right now <:

12 member group. I'd suggest watching loona TV, the episodes are super short but there are a lot of them- and really helpful too with learning the members imo.
