watching shoot me! right off the bat, I got a Wonder Girl's Lonely vibe. I think they use similar chords?? I've always been a fan of DAY6's title songs and Shoot Me is sOOOO good! The music video... the lyrics...just damn. I did NOT expect the "bang bang" part, but I love it. At 2:05, when the guy shoots back, Wonpil just goes off. I've always liked his vocal color, and that part is just oooooof.

it's only at the beginning I got that wg lonely vibe, but the song took so many turns that I did not expect! if i had money i would buy it rn.

it just sounds and looks really similar. i liked the song and concept, but i'd wish they weren't so obvious with it i guess? i at least hope that their next comeback is a bit different.

i agree but not exactly?

the choreo is similar, and the start beat.

but i understand why, bboom bboom was really successful so its obvious they'd try to reinterpet it a bit.

"baam" is written by the same producer of boom boom, you cannot say it isn't similar lol. the dance looks very boom boom-like and the same machine was probably used to make the beat. momoland caught my attention with boom boom, it was a good song, but their concept this time...yikes. let me just say i've always hated the mexican stereotype and they full on did it...can't say that this won't leave me with bitterness. i'm really sad their stylists and company saw mexicans like this. some say they're not offended, but yooo i was really hurt by them toy mustaches, and that they couldn't get a damn poncho. (the girl is wearing an african shirt called a
dashiki.) also the whole scene with her eating the nachos too... it REALLY rubbed me the wrong way and i'm gonna always think about it now when i see them. makes me wonder if the girls thought they were doing anything wrong or they were just like yes, this is mexico...

the song is catchy, but i'll always see it as boom boom #2 and remember the mv

Guuuuyyysss Day6’s new song is a jammmm! I wish it was longer though. TT_TT why so short, huh?
I’m just happy they are going on a world tour so hopefully I’ll get to see them in November!!

Long Post Alert~ Sorry, just needed to share me experiences somewhere. <3

And man oh man, I just went to KconNY for the fourth year in a row and I had a pretty interesting time. Just have to get a few things off my chest…
First off, I got to go to Klub Kcon for the first time and I’m not sure if I would ever do it again unless I was standing all the way at the back of the crowd at a safe distance. I’m pretty sure Klub Kcon is meant to be a fun dance club where kpop lovers of all ages can enjoy dancing with their friends, but because they have groups that go there to perform, everyone just stands squished together as close to the stage as they can to see them. So its mostly you standing there in a crowd bopping to a DJ for HOURS. It was fun at first, until my back started hurting me to the point of me feeling sick to my stomach (I actually threw up as soon as the event was over and I was heading back to my hotel. It wasn’t pleasant >.<). AS SOON AS THEY ANNOUNCED STRAY KIDS the entire crowd SHOVED my sister and I and I swear I almost got trampled. To make things worse, everyone in front of me was trying to film them so I couldn’t see anything. I only caught glimpses of them and their performance. From what I could see, they were beautiful human beings with mad talent. Hyunjin was such a sweetheart, seriously. They all were but Hyunjin kept getting all close with the fans at the front, and it made my heart melt. They are just everythinggggg. But anyways, after having to stand through what felt like another five hour long DJ session, I wish I could have said that I was excited to see Pentagon. I mean, I was extremely happy to see them, I love them a lot, but the pain I was in and the fact that I couldn’t see anything AGAIN really ruined it all for me. They were great nonetheless. At least I still got to see them at the concert. Both Pentagon and STRAY KIDS KILLLLEDDD ITTT! They were beyond my expectations, especially Stray Kids!! What a well-rounded group!! They are the definition of ‘stan talent.’

The next day my sister and I went to the convention and I was disappointed that it was completely downsized from last year. KconNY17 had a huge convention with multiple of each merchandise/ album tents so people weren’t having to wait in lines for hours on end. But no, this year there was just ONE main merchandise tent that had you standing there waiting in the burning sun for hours. The lines were crazy long. The only good change they made was putting the rest of the merchandise/ make up tents, etc, under a BIG tent so everyone wasn’t completely cooking in the sun. And I was kinda sad that the usual Toyota tent that would play random dance choruses for people to dance to was being used only for a Toyota survey. They still had music playing so everyone danced to it on the pavement, but it just wasn’t the same. Maybe I’m just being a downer, but it just wasn’t as fun as the last couple years.

An upside to things though were that I finally got a Hi-touch opportunity, and it was for Stray Kids, Golden Child, and EXID! The only Hi-touch I had ever gotten was for MAMAMOO, so finally getting a boy group felt great for once! I will say again that Stray Kids are beautiful human beings. Just gorgeous boys. Its crazy seeing them in person because you really realize how young they are. For instance, Changbin is so small! Half of them are born 99 or younger. Its crazyyy. Anyways, anyways, they are still everything. Pure talent. Nice boys. Very nice.
Ok BuT gOlDeN cHiLd!! I ended up trading my EXID Hi-touch for a Golden Child Audience so that my sister could come in with me. Don’t get me wrong, I looooooove EXID. They are my favorite girl group, but I really wanted my sister to come with me to see Golcha. So the boys of Golden Child are so adorable and genuinely sweet! When the Hi-touch was going on they were all taking our hands and saying such nice things to us! The leader, Daeyeol caught me off-guard because he grabbed my hand, stared me straight in the eyes and told me he loved me. I was speechless because I feel like it was usually the fans thanking them and saying things like that to them, but no, they all spoke to me first. I was speechless. Mehhh, it was just a lottt. Also, I brought a super cute Seal stuffed animal with me that I bought and the Maknae Bomin stopped me in the line to tell me that my seal was adorable. I didn’t know what to sayyyyyyy!!! I just hugged the seal, thanked him, and smiled like a fool. Omg…. They had me fifty shades of flustered. Even more than Stray Kids, which was unexpected. They were too cute! Merrrrrp! And oh gosh, they put on a great show during the concert. Their vocals were on point!! I guess I was sleeping too much on their abilities, because I was blown away! What beautiful voices! <3

All In all, the convention was kind of a bummer, and I had to deal with a ton of crazy people that felt like it’d be ok to push and shove for EVERYTHING, even lining up for RESERVED SEATING! Ridiculous, but all of the groups really made the whole experience worth it. I just hope that things change for the better next year!
aussie line = too cute.

i didn’t like baam one bit. daisy’s rap was terrible too. i’m really disappointed :/

but, i absolutely loved day6s new album. wonpils chorus in shoot me hnngg it’s so good! also, unb had a comeback which was so freaking good. i didn’t like their debut song but black heart is amazing. people are saying their footwork rivals teentops which is a really big compliment hahdjs
here’s the link to their music video: black heart, and here’s the link to their comeback stage where you can see the choreo a little bit better: here

and w’s comeback was terrific, i love the mood and beat of dejavu so much. as for shinees last comeback, it was really touching and i loved it a lot. i dont think i will ever be able to listen to our page without crying though lol. i will really miss shinee after they’re done with promos :,)

and twice’s new song looks like it’ll be such a good song man dskdkdk i love the concept photos! they’re all gorgeous.
