ＡＢＯＵＴ ＺＶＥＲＳ

Canis Concolor, otherwise known as Zvers, are an alien species that were discovered aboard a crashed space ship. Initially believed to be too vicious to tame, humans have begun to form bonds with these strange beasts, despite warnings from government agents who want them rounded up and exterminated. Despite several attempts, the government has thus far been unable to recapture them and Zvers have begun to breed. Many average joes have set off in search of a Zver to call their very own after hearing rumors that the intelligent creatures could be tamed with a bit of bribery and gentle coaxing. Will you join the hunt?

Hi there! Thought I'd pop by and introduce myself. I'm tapestry, proud owner of 2 Zvers, Maggie and Tamarin. I'm glad we have a fanclub to discuss Zvers now. :D

Who was/is your first Zver? How long have you had them?

My first was Maggie! I've had her since April 18th of this year.

How many Zvers do you have? What are their names? (link us to them if you wish)

I have two, Maggie and Tamarin.

How did you come across Zvers?

I don't really remember. I'm glad I did, though!

What is your favorite thing about Zvers?

I love how developed their behavior and backstory is. The story is just so intricate and well done and gives a really nice feel to the species. They didn't just pop up one day, there's reasoning behind it. I'll also admit I'm a sucker for animals from other planets. :p

What is your favorite piece of art that you have gotten of one of your Zvers?

Thorrissia made me this lovely art of Tamarin the other day, I like it a lot.

How many of your Zvers were born on their home planet of Quartan3 and how many were born in captivity?

Both of mine were born on Quartan3. They were quite young when their planet was compromised, though Tamarin was slightly younger than Maggie. When the ship crashed Maggie slipped out amid the confusion and ended up hiding in a forest on the outskirts of a small town. Tamarin was separated from his pride and tried to find them again, but failed to do so and was taken in by one of the nearby labs where they were conducting research on how easily these alien creatures could be domesticated. Eventually he was deemed tame enough to be a human companion and taken in by a friend of one of the scientists.

@tapesty ~ Oh no, it's fine! <3 I'm a bit lengthy myself with answers, so I have no room to judge anyways. X3 Anyway, you have two very lovely Zvers, I especially love Tamarain, he's quite handsome. :3 And I totally agree with you, I love how developed the species is and how in-depth Metallic Dragon went with them, it really makes them come alive. :3

Who was/is your first Zver? How long have you had them?
My very first Zver was Juniper. I have had her since...March 13th, 2011. She's so old that you'll get to see a glimpse of the original lines for Zvers:


How many Zvers do you have? What are their names? (link us to them if you wish)
I have a total of three right now, although Juniper doesn't count towards my limit due to how old she is. So I have Juniper, Arwen, and Teivel.

How did you come across Zvers?
I actually came across them due to their affiliation with another species that I had been active in called Ahzenai. I looked into Zvers and I just fell in love with them. <3

What is your favorite thing about Zvers?
Gosh, this is a hard one. The thing about them that first really drew me to them was how well developed the species was. But I just loved their eyes and sensors, also their long ears. <3

What is your favorite piece of art that you have gotten of one of your Zvers?
This is such a hard one, kinda. All my Zver art that I have is of Juniper and most of it is by Metallic Dragon herself, but I think my favorite piece, that wasn't done by her was this piece by DoctorDraca:

I really love this piece because, for one, I got it for free, and two because it's simply awesome. 0_0

How many of your Zvers were born on their home planet of Quartan3 and how many were born in captivity?
Well...let me think...Juniper was born in captivity, I think I want Arwen to have been born on Quartan3 and Teivel was born on Quartan3 but was shipped off with his family not long afterwards. So, 1 in captivity and 2 on their home planet. :3
