i was thinking of making an attack on titan rp, but i see those die a lot. any suggestions of what you would want to see in an snk rp that hasnt really been explored that much? and should canon characters be playable or not?

I don't think canon players should be playable. They are their own entity and when someone takes on their role, it just doesn't feel right.

@Skye Fawn ;; Not always, imo. I've seen and RPed with others who played canon characters (myself included) and they were doing a really great job staying in character c: You just have to think of it as a different story from canon, I guess.

@nightosphere ;; I've been in several and all of them died indeed x.x People seemed to be quite busy but did pop in once in a while. It eventually died due to slow progress of the story, however.

Hmm, there are theories about the whole thing being a dream or Eren going back in time etc, I'm not really fond of them but they'd be interesting to see in RPs ^^

@firedragon :: ive noticed most snk rps have a slow story too. In thinking about starting it right before an expedition and all the characters are getting ready. but I'm not entirely sure how to handle the whole titan part. I'm used to D&D but I know rolling die doesn't work too well online. I'm thinking each person play themselves and two titans (titans don't need forms and not all of them need to be killed to move on) but would that be too much for the average rper to write for?

@skye :: also I agree with the no canons idea, perhaps before the canon characters are born, or is that too cliche?

Hetalia is about personified countries going through the events of World Wars I and II but it's not really accurate as it then derives too much from it and it focuses on the countries/ characters' relationships, whose personalities are build on stereotypes alone.

Personally, I don't find it interesting at all and it is rather boring. The art is okay I guess~
It has many fans however who say that it is super good. I don't really see it but you might want to give it a try? The episodes are 5min. long.

@nightosphere ;; That sounds like a good idea and I don't think it'd be too much but RPers of lesser skill/ experience might find it hard to do.
