hellsing is zombie/vampire, the ultimate series. silver spoon is heavy animal, not sure if the type of animal you want though. princess mononoke sort of is i guess ?

it's about this guy called hachiken coming to a giant agricultural school despite knowing nothing about farming. it's slice of life so the plot progression is...there is none. but the development is amazing and all the characters are lovely. they finish up the first season so pleasantly and you can easily see hachiken become a character you can't not love with all your heart. it has what every amazing slice of life anime has - that feeling of just joy when you finish an episode.

it takes a few episodes to get into but the comedy is decent and the characters are just so lovely. i had no interest in farming at all but silver spoon is at the very top of my lists. it made me laugh, cry and every episode had me grinning. it's a feel-good anime.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

Someone just brought my Imaginary Anime fan club back to life, but it needs more members now. It's a club where we create our own fandom by talking about an "anime" (that doesn't really exist): with every post we write, the anime invents itself ^^.

Ooh, Fruits Basket: my first anime and one of my favorites! If you finish it and want more, read the manga: it has a lot of stuff that's not in the anime ^^.
