Warning: Spoilers ahead for people who haven't completed it (highlight to read) - Honestly I don't really like how HxH ended...in the last few episodes, Gon, Killua, Leorio and even Melody met up again, but all we see of Kurapika is him sitting alone in a room and not answering his phone. Gon finally meets his father, Killua finds out what he wants to do (I suppose), and Leorio continues studying to be a doctor. Even after those three achieve their goals, there's still no sign of Kurapika avenging his clan. After the whole Phantom Troupe arc you would think he would have gotten revenge on all of them by the end of the series...bleh, I'm probably just annoyed because Kurapika was my favorite character cx Other than that, I think the ending was sweet. Gon-kun finally met his father <3
Anyways, what do you guys think of Free! and One Piece?
spoils guys. i agree on the whole kurapika thing. he's a great character. he's a brilliant character among a massive cast of BRILLIANT characters. i don't hate a single character in that show. anyway the anime finishes up to where the manga has got up to. the author took a huuuge hiatas (forgot how to spell) because of a lot of physical and mental stress he got from doing yu yu hakusho. he didn't want the quality of hxh to lower because of his stress like it had been doing with hakusho. but - good news. hunterxhunter manga is returning this year - so it won't be too long before we actually find out what happened to kurapika.
one piece is pretty good. i'd say it's the best out of the big three (personal opinion - actually, going off quality bleach would probably win), it has lovely character designs and not a huge amount of filler. and a great soundtrack. the manga is better though - as with most long running shows (not hxh though).
free... let's just say i don't tell my friends i've seen both seasons.
and some twists and turns along the way, shame about the losses tho
