Started watching Madoka Magica, the witches give me a headache but I still enjoy it.

mostly hyped for norn9: norn + nornet, hai to gensou no grimgar, and boku dake ga inai machi this season !!
going to write a short blurb on each of em, hope i don't make this post too long uvu and yes, definitely recommend
all the shows i listed down here! c:

norn9's animations are really nice and its got a lot of beautiful scenery [not to mention natsuhiko azuma ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ]
well coming from originally an otome game, it's not a bad start and i think it's going to have a lot of potential in the
future later on.

the manga for boku dake ga inai machi is really good and i suggest everyone read it [unless they dont want to spoil
themselves haha, but honestly wow that ending though o.o] it gets much more complicated later on when he uses his
'revive' ability. definitely going to be one of the best shows of the season.


and of course hai to gensou no grimgar with its stunning animations and scenery, the pacing seems slow at first but
there's a lot of meaning in each scene and the characters slowly get to know their new world and lifestyle a little
better, though you can see the more darker psychological aspects of the anime in this. its not just about leveling
up and killing monsters for fun like in sao, its a situation in which they realize its kill or be killed. they're taking their
time to get used to this world and i like it that way, not like sao where they were adjusted to their surroundings in no
time. i'm pretty sure there'll be amazing character development along the way.

they've experienced actual pain and the act of killing for the first time. you can see how their false impression of
this world slowly breaks. slowly but steady they realize in what situation they are and that's where the character
development starts to kick in. think about it, they don't have memories of their previous life. we see killing and
death countless times in movies or read them in books, they have nothing of that anymore. they've also never seen
those monsters doing anything bad. they were told that they do gruesome things to humans yes, but seen with their
own eyes? nope. that maybe plays also a role why this killing was so hard for them. and there you have the basics
on what this show tries to build its character development.


of course these shows just started so i don't know what to expect yet but i hope you enjoy them just as much
as i do! nvn

i'm a little annoyed about norn9 because they paired koharu with kakeru in the anime which is. kind of not my fave couple. at all. i'll probably watch episodes about senri if they fit any in though (he's my fave) ++ when they get into nanami and mikoto's stuff

but the colors are really pretty to look at!

they poke fun at the general anime archetypes later, but technically they can't do it that much anymore .w.;
the parodied animes got a little iffy with it so it's like?? not gonna really happen later. but i promise you that it'll keep being funny in its own way!!!
