Apparently I write like Stephanie Meyer. :| I am so offended and disheartened right now.
And now I don't even want to write, if it sounds like her books.
I try so hard on them as well, and TH,T has a plot, for crying out loud.
But no.
Why can't I ever escape that woman?

You could try changing your style a bit, if you don't like it being a certain way. Study how an author you admire writes - how do they approach syntax and diction? How's their sentence length? Are they blunt, or do they come up with huge, flowery descriptions?

And I don't think the site posted in the front measures content so much as how everything's put together. It's said that I write like three different people - though, it likes to say I'm a Brit, when I'm not. >.>;

Stopping writing is a bit drastic, though I do understand the reasoning for that declaration. She's not one to look up to when you're serious with your work.

I've been trying out quite a few styles recently, and although I think my sentence structure and overall setting out of TH,T was a bit sloppy, I didn't think it was that bad. e____e;

I can be a bit of a drama queen when it comes to Stephanie Meyer, but yeah. It's just put me off, because... -shudders- Well, for multiple reasons really. But mostly just the fact that in my opinion, she can't write. So yeah, it's a bit well, depressing to have your writing compared to someone's you've always said couldn't write. |D

Back in the day when this thread was brand new, somebody recommended me a site that you signed up for, and wrote on the site. It counted your words along with your most used, how often you use each gender and other useless but facinating things, and you could also get achievements for doing certain things. I cannot for the life of me remember the name =/. Only that it was super fun to write on and I had a lot of stories saved on there. Can anybody help me out =(?

Hmmn, that sounds like one page per day only I don't think they do that whole achievement things for when you're typing, but I haven't ever really used it so I could just be clueless. =P
