what was the first shiny you ever received?:

Not counting the shiny Gyarados in HG/SS, a shiny Passimian from Wondertrade was my first. The first I ever caught myself was a shiny Magby (also in Sun, after getting the shiny charm), and the first I ever got by chance was a shiny Purrloin (now evolved) I caught in Pokemon Black right in the very beginning.

what was the first shiny you ever received?:
Not counting an obviously hacked shiny Litten, I SOS chained for Rockruffs and now I have a little shiny baby named Digital <3
Rockruffs are one of my favorite Pokemon and their shinies are one of my favorite colors

What was the first shiny you ever received?:
Officially, the red Gyarados in Silver/Crystal. Not counting that, my first was a shiny Weedle that popped up completely randomly in Viridian Forest in FR. c:

My first shiny was an electrike in the original ruby, a complete surprise as I was on my way to Mauvile. Sadly don't have it anymore though. First shiny I chained was a fletchling in moon, then three rockruffs (one for me and two of my friends) and a rowlet, all without shiny charm (and under chains of 80 too!)

My first shiny was a Rattatta in Heartgold, back in 2010! I was on my way to fight Ho-oh so I was thankfully stocked up nicely with Pokeballs ^^

I don't have the patience to shiny hunt through the mesuda method. I tend to just chain Pokemon for shines

what was the first shiny you ever received?:
The Lake of Rage Gyarados, followed by RWBY's shiny Ho-oh, followed by a random shiny Corsola in Y which I used for contests in Alpha Sapphire. And a random shiny Spoink on PokéFarm back before the Ho-oh.

What Pokémon typings don't make sense to you?
Mawile doesn't look like a Steel-type at all. It should be a Dark-type, really, seeing as it's the Deceiver Pokémon, and Bite and Crunch are both Dark-type moves. Unlike many Pokémon based on Japanese mythology, its origin doesn't explain its type either.
