I agree that they ruined Tsukiyama in the anime. They literally make him seem like he's got no intelligence at all. He's just being used as food to the meme gods now.

okay so i looked over the recent episode and i am so angry
they made the scene where tsukiyama goes 'for dear life kaneki would you please not go' a joke
in the manga its a hugely emotional scene because tsukiyama realizes how much he actually cares about kaneki
but no the anime didn't have any of that
they shoved it in the end of the episode with almost no context
and its played as a joke and just tsukiyama overreacting
