wondering if the color scheme doesn't really hurt anyones eyes????

the only color im having trouble seeing is the one of "hiatus". i can still read it but it strains the eyes a bit! the rest is absolutely perfect!! ive been wanting to incorporate those shadowed boxes myself, and i think you pulled that off wonderfully.
