wheeew imma rant here for a moment. One thing I have found is a great piece of wisdom
for anything really, not just signature stuff, is that even if you don't totally love something at first its great
to still go through with it to find out what works and what doesn't! the signature im working currently wasn't
anything spectacular and slowly once I got to the text/font part and started adding the plant like stuff I felt
it turned out alot better. For those of you that have known me for a bit now I never have really felt I had a style
ya know, same old same old? When I was finishing this one up I kinda realized something. Lately I have felt like I
have a bit more of a style, but still not quite. thats when it hit me. All of mine have some sort of story to it per
say. I have never liked running a shop or taking orders unless it's something I loved because I couldn't focus on it,
why? Because I wasn't connected to it. Since I've started to really make signatures i always had a song or quote
that played a major part in it. it may sound stupid, but that my style in a way. if you don't know what song or idea
it was based of it seems, yeah pretty normal, but those you do know it or know the song, or er listened to it after
get more of the feel to it in a way. It's not totally a theme..well kinda..either way thats what I have found, that I
love about my own signatures, There filled with what I love and my own stuff, whether people choose to really
find the story or not is up to them, but when I see them I have that sorta feeling to it. Like opening up a book you
loved and read ages ago <3
I never really looked back on my old work, but now that I've figured out what my 'style I'm feeling alot happier about
what I'm making and how things work. I could copy the layout or idea of someone else, but then it's not mine. Someone
could try and imitate what I do, but again it's not the same. It really makes me appreciate all the things of created and
as cheesy as it may sounds it really really makes me happy. Every since first starting I never thought mine were any different
anyone could make what I do. now I know im wrong, I do have my own sorta of thing going on, and I am truly happy I have
figured it out. Once you found your style is when I feel you really start to make signatures. Every artist has there own
feel and style, it takes a bit to find, but it's the most rewarding feeling.
sorrryyy thats so long
but im happy
idk if anyones even going to read that sap feast lmao
