What have you accomplished/what are you thankful for since you joined the fanclub?
Well I got my first equid! And I have four now, with a fifth one on their way!
If you all knew me in 2013-2014 you'd know what an edgy mess of angst I was haha. I am very thankful for everyone accepting me in here despite how mean and angry I was. It really does mean a lot to me!!

Out of all your equids, which gave the most memorable first impressions?
Definitely Daedalus! I wanted an equid so bad, and when I finally scored a slot with Kita I was ecstatic! I fell in love with the species all over again!

Nothing would really change. Daedalus would continue making jokes, and loving attention

She would use this opportunity to flirt with mares. Most mares are straight, and would be more accepting of a stallion hitting on them.
Kazar
He would be quite shocked at first, but would use this opportunity to see the world through the eyes of a mare. He'd want to know about their experiences, and the different kinds of struggles they go through.
Anima
Anima uses they/them pronouns, and would be pretty curious to be masculine for a while. Especially since they've always identified more on the feminine side.

Well guys, my final breeding was completed. It's a beautiful girl done by Ghost. It's the foal of my Amaranth and Stornoway. I haven't found a name that I think suits her but I want to show her off to the world. <3

A while back Paigey bestowed upon me a slot with her lovely Reyna, and I never did get around to using it. With equids closing,
and with only one more round of breedings to be done ever, this is the last chance I'll have to send it in before it fades away into the
land of "what if"s forever. I didn't have a stallion picked for her until recently, but I must say I couldn't have asked for a more
legendary pairing; Royal completely rocks for letting me have an Amadi slot, I still can't even deal. ToT

Out of all your equids, which gave the most memorable first impressions?
Halo. I still remember that adrenaline soaked glee when I nailed Halo's FCFS and won my first equid. My very first one. I can think back and get excited all over again. eue

I remember waiting so long to get DaveRifle, so when I finally seen him, he became my forever baby that I never have really been able to imagine past a yearling, even though he has multiple layers of descendants now. 8P *denial ftw*

Then there was Static. When you see that tiny picture in the main gallery after you've been expecting a breeding, this beautiful tiny picture that reminds you so much of your special equid and you know it's yours even before you've clicked it good and then you click on it and IT IS. Your thoughts don't even have punctuation. I was just sitting there like THIS BEAUTIFUL RAINBOW QUIP MONSTER IS MIIIIINE. And I still feel that way some days. TuT


What have you accomplished/what are you thankful for since you joined the fanclub?
For starters, I am so thankful to all the artists for everything that they've done, past and present. 8'D All of those beautiful breedings and adopts helped make the species what it is today, and I could never properly express how grateful I am to have been here for it, at least part of the time. XD When I joined CS back in 2011, it wasn't long before I found equids. Or perhaps equids found me.

I saw one randomly in the oekaki one day and was immediately smitten, and hence forth they became an enormous part of my life for years. It's an outstanding feat for a species, to have fans that can talk about it in terms of years. Many species never last that long, or maintain the amount of devoted activity that this breed has seen in it's day. They were one of the first influences in my adopting career, and to be completely honest, I got to know a lot of my best online friends through this species. It, and the people I met here encouraged me to draw often, to get better and grow as an artist, and was the driving force behind my development in both digital and traditional mediums, as a writer, and my love for forums in general.

So to put it simply; I wouldn't be the same person if I hadn't accidentally stumbled into this species one day. ;u; You guys and our legion of stripey horses have changed me for the better, and I have so many awesome memories from here that I will never forget. <333
