So I'd like to write a book about WMEs. But I need more characters than just my own herd.

The story is about my Carollan who lives with his grandfather, Iagan's, herd. But he is bored and feels like no one really likes him, so he runs away. He meets a colt named Cadmon who ran away from captivity to see what the wild is like. They come across a filly named Esther and together they form some sort of a herd. They have a few adventures/mishaps, and grow up a bit but then they fall apart. Cadmon returns to his mother, Aislinn, in captivity and Esther falls in love with another stallion (not before becoming pregnant with Caddy's foal however X3)
Carollan ends up all alone and he debates returning to Iagan. But instead, he meets a mysterious beauty named Sri. I'm not sure what all happens from here though.

But yeah, I need more members of Iagan's herd as well as other random equids to meet up with and have things happen with.

Also, if anyone wants to help me with the plot, I'd love for this to be a group effort!

Hi everyone! Here's an update on the book:
I have a document filled with links the equids I have permission to use.
There is a skype group, and anyone who wants involved or to follow along is welcome to join.

The book is being outlined. We're up to about chapter 3 while throwing around ideas still that'll come in later too. This is what it looks like:

Part1: Carollan runs away from his herd and makes new friends. They have adventures and mishaps until they fall apart.
1) Being led to leave
a. He is feeling depressed, mulling over how his mother left him for a stallion
b. Doesn’t fit in, not even with his young uncle, Nakai who he was raised with
c. Sees something in the fading sunlight, it is Sri—he doesn’t know her yet though
d. Goes after her, but loses her
e. Meets Cadmon instead
i. Caddy left his mother from the domestic life, snuck away to be wild
ii. They decide to band together
2) Rescuing Esther
a. They hear an equid in distress
b. Run to the scene, a cougar is attacking a filly
c. They save her
d. Her name is Esther and she recently ran away from her herd
i. She felt like her younger sisters got more attention than her and that she no longer mattered
e. She joins them and they continue travelling
3) Meeting a new herd?
a. Go through, pick out applicable herd

I am actually planning an equid story too xD It revolves around my herd and how their histories intertwine even though they live in different places. Love developing personalities through stories :3

I actually wrote one part of it a while ago but I doubt anyone read it xD
