If your equid was/is a racer how do they run?
Stay in the front no matter what, loves the slop, a fighter, a stalker, a dramatic finisher? etc...?

Just going to answer for couple who actually do run

Nitro: He's a fighter, he is fast and loves to run head to head with others, often winning but not always..

Secretariat: He's typically a back runner, pulling up on the outside through the last length as a dramatic finisher, unless he really feels the need to be head to head with an equid, in which case he leaves them in the dirt (Nitro especially bugs him)

Only one of mine that I can see racing competitively would be Impala, and I see her going hard and fast at breakneck speed from the get-go. She's great at short sprints, but she wears down in longer distances, unless she's being coached while going solo, where she can listen for cues.
When going flat-out, only Reaper can catch her (after all, isn't the phrase 'you can't outrun death'?), if he ever felt the compulsion to actually move faster than an easy trot without something or someone egging him on. ID Edgar comes a close second, but he's usually running away instead of running after.

I feel like Kavus and Ahrkantos don't really run for the joy of it. Skyfall, on the other hand, is the type to challenge EVERYONE to a race. She'd be great at sprints, but tire during long distances. Hyratius can go for ever and ever, with moderate speed. And Solana is lightning on four legs c:

Freyja: Front runner! She'd be the one who sprints ahead at the beginning and then probably end up losing xD
Waltz: Prefers to stay in the back around 4 - 5th place and finish 2nd- 3rd.
Allie: Strategic planner - will seek out each opponent's ability and work out a plan before the race. She loves a dramatic finish.
Riptide: he prefers to compete in stamina and likes to stay in the middle and make a sprint at the last minute
Xue: prefers to take opponents down one by one from behind and walk past the finish line

Tuesday's Adam. And Frontier's Samael (based off of reapers). And whoever else wants to join, of course, heh.

The Only one I feel would be a racer would be Fiammetta.
She would probably either stay with the group before bursting ahead or put her stamina to a higher use and stay ahead of the group.

I tend to learn towards B but I have done A and C before too.

All of the above?

Most often I tend to find a pretty pair, come up with a drafted name/personality and then decide on any traits I'm going to request.

There are the odd breedings I have (Lance x Cherokee Rose and Tansy x Bugatti) where I have purposefully waited and searched for the right parents for a breeding that already has a name personality and basic appearance sketched out it my head.

It's a mix. Most of my breedings are C, and then I'll match them to a breeding goal of mine if I can. B, I know that for my Flash quid I need a reddish base (blood bay), blue eyes, and yellow (cream) 'lightning' quip. I have yet to find such parents with open slots... but you get the gist. A, I have a breeding set up: Quoth. I had her all planned out based on my love for Poe and decided hey, Legend and Vivace. <3
