All this talk of Rping.
Thing is I get so lost on CS to threads because there's so many people and no one replied to me (last time I tried)
SO how would you guys feel if I made a whole website, like this:

For those who don't want to click, it's a boards2go style, so you can code your post with HTML or CSS, and directly rely to the person you're Rping with so nobody gets confused or lost.

We don't have an active RP and I'm guessing it's because CS isn't really the best way to RP (in my opinion)

To be honest I see no real point in making a whole new website simply to try and keep roleplays, the most likely outcome of that is that people will either forget about the website or just not feel that motivated to use the website actively, when they need to log in somewhere completely else than stay on the one site where pretty much everything about wild mountain equids is collected. And I don't think the wme roleplays died out simply because they were on CS, but mainly because often there is no real plot involved (other than make friends/romance) and then people lose interest in the end when nothing interesting happens.

But that's just my opinion

I agree with fanta. The website wouldn't end up successful, as everything with equids is on CS. Also, I'm sure that is something horsy would want to have some kind of part of, and she's a very busy person.
Rather than making a whole site with no aim, just create an RP here with an actual plot line. Plots and roles keep people involved. ^^ This way, people will be able to just log into the site they spend all their time on, and rp with their equids without having to jump around.

Not that I would roleplay because I'm not very comfortable with my skills for it at all, but I do agree with Fanta. A lot of roleplay sites end up forgotten about, plus it would be easier to stay on CS for less accounts. xD

I honestly have no issue with rping on Chickensmoothie. I have rped both here and on Howrse (which have pretty similar setups when it comes to rping) (although CS is better) for 6 years. I actually avoid sites like that just because they really tend to confuse me. I haven't bothered to learn how they work. I would probably be more active in one if it was located here.

I would be happy to try and think up a plot, if needed? Or if a group of people wants to get together to figure something out?

Yeah, I know I'm not motivated enough to get on a new site like that. They intimidate me, even if I do know the users. I just don't like how RPs work on there.

I prefer it to stay on CS. I just think we need to come up with a really intriguing plot that will draw in people and make them inspired to write. We should brainstorm ideas here. I would take it to PMs, but it seems like a lot of people really want to roleplay, and the RP will be open to everyone

I'm open to RP's (including 1x1) with nearly all my Equids, though I do tend to favor CS over most other sites; simply because it's what I'm used to using. Coding is easy(ish) on my phone and I can easily type a reasonably well-formatted response :3

I was starting a small roleplay with a few others (sorry guys I was getting there with the thread just in process of changing jobs :S). This was it here. The idea behind it was a little more abstract and plot-based than your average horse herds-esque roleplay. If anyone wants to be a part/co-own/ask more or add to the plot then pm me :3

Tuesday's Adam. And Frontier's Samael (based off of reapers). And whoever else wants to join, of course, heh.
