What is decoden?
Decoden is basically arts and crafts that started in Japan, and made their way over to Europe and North America! Decoden consists of decorating phone cases, mirrors, brushes, or anything else that can be deco'd into art. Most decoden features silicone or clay whipped cream, with jewels and other decorations (such as clay charms, beads, pearls, rhinestones, or cabochons) embedded into it.
What are cabochons?
Cabochons are plastics or resin charms that are very popular for decoden! They range from sweets, bows, purses, characters, to many more things.

Materials for Decoden
- - A phone case, DS case, or whatever else you'll be decorating.
- Silicone (Walmart for this! Alex Plus White Silicone) or clay whipped cream
- Cabochons, pearls, rhinestones, or whatever else you want on your piece
- A piping bag (optional)
- A plastic piping tip (plastic ones are easier to clean than metal ones!)
- Scotch tape to tape your piping tip right on to your silicone container
- And lastly.... your imagination! Have fun with this, because decoden is all about having fun and making things cute.
