If you view a dragon that's for sale on the AH, there's a button (where 'auction' and 'exalt' are for your own dragons) that says 'purchase' and if you hover over it, it tells you how much the dragon is listed for.

Has this always existed (and I was just too blind to notice it) or is it new?

Yep, they were stocked in the auction house for 165k last night, and there still at 183k today which is under marketplace prices still. They're not popular at all.

I bought 50 gems a while before rollover so I could buy the Bone Fragment item things so I could make a Crown of Bones.
But I had to go out for tea and I thought that I would be back before rollover and I get back 1 minute after.
And now I have an extra 50 gems I don't need and I'm too lazy to wait until it appears again.

A lot of times they'll have the same item up at swipp's between the two days. It may come back. If not, you might be able to find someone to trade for it. I'll work out.
