Have you ever used GIMP?
I used to use Pixlr, until I discovered GIMP. It has a very similar layout, but I find it much more usable.

I can't wait until summer. I get a few weeks to just stay at home all day. Those few weeks will be the least productive weeks of my life and will consist of playing games and eating ramen.

GIMP is very usable and allows the production of gift off the program ^^ You can also mod it to make it look more like Elements with all of the functions Elements has. . . My older brother uses GIMP even though we own Photoshop and is very happy with it.

Rose, have you double checked your program list recently? GIMP is funded by programs who "cling" to the install. When you install something, there should almost always only be one "accept" the other ones are other programs not related. These are usually PUPS or potentially unwanted programs. This includes browser hijackers, fake virus removers, information collectores, and ad providors.

Go to computer>Uninstaller or change a program

Then Uninstall anything that seems unwanted. There's lists of common PUPs online, or if you notice something new you never downloaded, remove it.

You have to be careful with these programs, and people hate gimp because it's a "virus" when in reality they just want money XD
