I was going to save this for Friday, because you know feels Friday and everything. But i'm just going to leave this here before I forget...

I have a headcanon that when England found America he was human. That's why when England came back after being gone for awhile he was so surprised to see how much he had grown. Because the countries perception of time and human perception of time are different.
America, or Alfred as the humans called him, was killed at the end of the revolution. Once the war was over and the treaty was signed he was reincarnated into the country of America, but his opinions were changed because of what happened.

I know Davie and a lot of factors would make this headcanon false but that's the joy of headcanons, they don't necessarily have to be true.

Technically, it was be sort of a correct headcanon. There's this one strip that a kid wants to become a country and soon he does. He notices that he no longer ages, however that he gave up the 'dream' of being a country and returned to be a human. This is if I remember the strip correctly.
