hey guys, remember that gemsona i posted earlier, klara/celestine?

i redesigned her, but i wanna make a corrupted form too, for a long comic i'm working on c:

any ideas for her corrupted form?

I can give ideas but you must answer these questions:
1. Why does she get corrupted? Is it caused by trauma, or by actual damage to her gemstone?
2. Does she have any kind of mental illness that could contribute to her corrupted form? If so, what is it?
3. Is there a particular creature (real or fictional) that she would love to be like/dreams about being?
4. Is her weapon something she could incorporate into her form in some way?
5. Is her gemstone in a vulnerable location?

2. not really.
3. well, something tiger-like, or anything related to fire owo
4. she has a scythe, so yeah, i guess c:
5. it's on her cheek, so yup.

Getting into a fight with her friend causes her corruption, but she doesn't have a mental illness? That's a bit hard to believe (considering that corruption is connected to insanity), but I guess I'll roll with it.

I could see her degrading into a distorted tiger-like form over time, and once she gets to a point where she can no longer use her weapon effectively she would either add the blade to the end of her tail or turn her hands/front paws into blades. Since her gem is in such a vulnerable location, I could also see her adding false gemstones at various points on her body to draw attention away from the real one.

I can do a quick sketch of the stages of her corruption, if you provide a ref of her normal form.

well, the fight was pretty serious, so that's why she got corrupted.

@peridots - I say something like a... A Phoenix... ONE SECOND LET ME SCETCH, YOU CANT SEE THE PICTURE BY WORDS!!! I know my moonstones gem is on the back of her head, but it moves in her corrt form (an owl monster) to under her head... Her head, it's hard to explain okay but I know most corrupt gems have their gems hidden (like the puffer fish)

Well I imagine, I mean the pufferfish's gem was INSIDE it, so I'd think...

Is...is her shirt a part of her form? What about her hair? They don't match the gemstone itself.

Can you provide a close-up ref of her gemstone?
