how do i get an equid other than the adopt me ones?

Breeding, and that's about it besides customs and as far as I know they aren't given out.

Has anyone ever thought about what it would be like to talk to someone in real life and just say, "yeah, I just got my tenth baby last night.", when you are talking about Equids? Because I have. And I can see their reaction... And it is beautiful.

I've actually said that to my mom once... I was like "Omg my baby is here!" and she just stared at me like "What are you on right now?" xDD It was indeed beautiful.

My mother's gotten curious enough to want to see my herd. She liked Clarence and Luze, but the darker coats weren't her thing. xD Pity, because darker coats and greys seem to be my favorites~

haha so has my mother, she likes them but she hates the tails XD
she's supportive as long as i keep my career as my priority, which is fair
it's not my partner's thing but he's accepted i'm eccentric haha XD
he's popped in a few of my adopts streams so he knows what it's about c:

This is awesome!! I go through this struggle all the time...my hub gets it and is extremely supportive lol! but everyone else is like..."what's wrong with that horse?"

And then the best was my best friends hub...(Looking at a traditional piece of Kita's Hao) "hey that looks like a digimon!! He needs some bazookas and rockets, that would be sweet!"

Are the kind of questions I get asked from my family lol. And I give them pretty much close to the same answer "it's a uhhh created breed? XD"

Oh, "What's wrong with that horse?" would be great to hear.
When I was at business academy I always doodled. Theachers knew that and always looked interested at my doodles. One day I started with a WME and my teacher - a business teacher, nobody who has much to do with art - said to me: "Naaa, this horse is looking somehow strange. What's wrong with you today? Last time your anatomy was much better." I nearly fell off my chair.
But my family and my collegues at work know that I draw fantasy creatures. And they deal quite good with it.

My friends just used to tell people they were donkey horses with funny tails. It saves confusion and seems to satisfy people.

My parents have given up on me, and just call them horses xD they don't even ask what's with the tails anymore, lol

My sister kinda gets it though, and she recognized Vivian by name when I was doing art of her :')
