I have no idea. XD People have really varying tastes..So I'll use my friend as a scapegoat. xD
This dragon..She bought it for 20K.

I personally would not have bought it for that price, just because I don't really like the color grey that much. x3

I probably would have bought it if it where a different breed. x3 It all just depends on people's tastes. Usually only very pretty, high demand dragons will sell for a lot. But if your dragon is triple gened, always sell it above 15K unless the colors aren't pretty. You can easily train the up and exalt them for that same price. c:

But what is pretty and what isnt differs per person so its not really a refined science in whats pretty its more of trying to figure out what is popular

Yeah, that's what I said..

People have really varying tastes

So it's up to others whether they'll buy it or not. That's why I used my friend because she has different tastes then I do and she buys dragons that I wouldn't buy myself. c: So somewhere that means that there's someone that would like that dragon, but others not so much.
And eye burners will usually sell for a lot, because more people like them. x)

I agree with Pear. It really depends on what you like. There are color fads that seem to go for a high amount, but once the market gets saturated with those fad dragons the price drops to come on par with everything else.

When a new gene or dragon breed comes out, the people who are able to breed them right away usually charge a huge amount for them. But give it a month or so and the prices come tumbling down.

You'll get an understanding once you start browsing the forums and selling stuff on the AH. You'll eventually start noticing what colour combos people generally like and which dragon breeds get left out, etc. But selling dragons usually doesn't pay all that much unless you have rare colour combinations. To be fair, just breed dragons because you like them, not because others like them. Once you get going and you start to grind the coliseum and stuff, you'll find a way to make money and you don't have to worry about breeding too much.

Agreed! xD I have a mostly Imp/Coatl lair. xD (It'd be all Imps if it were possible to breed change into imps...T-T)

I'd never be able to save up money ever again.

or you could just breed the same colors into an imp but i personally prefur to keep my own dragons to getting new ones
