EDIT - one found! Thanks - Cole Stargazer - <3
I don't think I'm of any use here in your situation, but I'm having the same problem.
Except most of the art I got of this character was from around 2011 and there's like no way I can track most of it. :c and I feel bad about putting up the art while maybe not having the correct credits.
What should I do guys? I don't think anyone here would recognize the art since it was so long ago.
I'm in the same boat too. Most of the usernames I had for people are either way outdated, or have been lost over time. I do my best to credit, etc, but all my character pages I also state "If you have done one of these pieces, changed your online username, wish to give an updated link to your art site, or you know the artist of a mislabeled piece, please contact me directly". I have gone as far as to go through my old PMs, search my previous posts here on CS, but things get a bit tricky for me when it comes to say, sites that no longer exist (I have been on a few over the years). Good luck! Maybe you can also make a by link only page if you know some people who might have an idea on some of the artists, that way they're all in one place to figure out who did them? just a thought.
@alaskie: I love the popcorn garland

I *finally* finished this winter piece I was working on last week. My character Gail and Lioness626's David. They're not an item or anything, just devious buds having a rather nice time (instead of making trouble! They're probably plotting trouble, teehee)
