I didn't do the SS thing this year, but I did get carried away and buy myself two new designs for Christmas - still looking to get one or two based on some tv characters I love, have points/pets/characters if you'd like to pm me.

ummm i've done 10 [kinda small] headshots and a design
i've gotten a fullbody piece via an art trade, and i'm waiting for two more
i'm definitely planning on drawing/getting more :p

Then maybe 5 pieces of art?

I'd like to do more, but I'm now focusing on my friends' gifts instead.
Maybe I'll go back to it after, but I'll probably have nothing more to pay XD

Have you ever bought a character and then fairly quickly [say a few days, to a month] just suddenly realized that you don't know what to do with it/can't connect like you intentionally thought you did?

Yup. Did this with a character that a friend traded with me, Alex. I adored his design, but when it came to it, I just didn't know how I'd use him as anything more than a design. So I gave him back.

Nah, in that situation I go for someone who I'm less likely to sell XD
It's usually who I'm focusing on at the time, like currently I'm really focused on Klaus and Faust so it would be one of them. Likely Klaus as he's my sona. Sometimes it is a struggle but usually only when I've got multiple pieces to order.

Looking for art - potentially for SS but also gifts for friends
I have CS pets, DA points, characters (could also possibly write for art, if you'd want that?)
No limitations on style or species, there are plenty of characters to choose from.
