Can someone clarify this for me? I think I'm getting something wrong.

The murderer of the five children is described to have worn the Golden Freddy suit to lure the children away no? So where did the fifth child go?
In the 'It's been so long' video, Freddy guides the fifth child into a room with a present in it, and inside the present lies the Golden Freddy suit. So was the murderer wearing a normal Freddy suit?
Because it wouldn't make sense because of this quote:

Hello? Hello...uh...what on earth are you doing there, uh didn’t you get the memo, uh, the place is closed down, uh, at least for a while. Someone used one of the suits. We had a spare in the back, a yellow one, someone used it...now none of them are acting right. Listen j-just finish your shift it’s safer than trying to leave in the middle of the night. Uh we have one more event scheduled for tomorrow, a birthday. You’ll be on day shift, wear your uniform, stay close to the animatronics, make sure they don’t hurt anyone okay, uh for now just make it through the night, uh when the place eventually opens again I’ll probably take the night shift myself. Okay, good night and good luck.

The purple man was wearing the normal Freddy suit, then when the children were stuffed, Freddy took the last child to the room with the present, ???

Also, that also brings up another question, what suit did the phone guy get stuffed into, there weren't anymore?

I think I can answer your questions.

Firstly, I don't think "It's Been so Long" can be taken as canon. The events in that video have very little evidence to support them. Like, where was a mother? And when did she turn into the Puppet? The answers can't be found in-game.

However, in the "Give Gifts, Give Life" minigame, a fifth dead child does appear before the Golden Freddy jumpscare. Possibly saying that a fifth child was either stuffed or had it's soul transferred into Goldie's suit, but I don't know.

The murderer definitely wore Golden Freddy's suit, though. That isn't a question.

I don't think our friend was stuffed into any known suit. There is a slight possibility his final resting place was Golden Freddy, but his Phone Call on the fourth night makes me rethink that theory.

"Uh, hey, do me a favor. *bang bang* Maybe sometime, uh, you could check inside those suits in the back room? *bang bang* I'm gonna to try to hold out until someone checks. Maybe it won’t be so bad. *bang bang* Uh, I-I-I-I always wondered what was in all those empty heads back there."

Not only does this lead me to believe that he knew he was going to die (which still creeps me out to this day) but that there are more empty suits than the ones we see. Maybe he was stuffed into a spare Freddy suit, or maybe even a spare Bonnie or Chica suit. That answer is still unknown, to me, at least.

And no, the Marionette is not an animatronic. He doesn't appear robotic at all and doesn't have room for an endoskeleton. I think he is what he appears to be, a marionette. Maybe made of cloth, wood or rubber, like most marionettes and puppets.

There, my best reply. I shrunk it in case of spoilers. After all, the game hasn't even been out for two months yet. I think we still run the risk of spoilers.

Very Reasonable. I think that the animation though by DieStab can show a bit of information too. (Gonna shrink down now.)
There is possibly a child haunting the marionette, even though a body cannot be stored in it like the suits, besides mangle. And when that information connects with the 'Save them' minigame in the second game, You know about the purple man attack? If so, then you see that he has a badge, and what looks like a phone in his hand. The theme for the minigames are the old fashion style, so the quality for the minigames are probably around the atari graphics.

Hi, I haven't played yet so everything I know is from youtube. Based on this limited knowledge I think Foxy is my favourite in the first game. In the second game it gets a bit more complicated because I love the Marionette but I also like the look of Chica (not Toy Chica) much more than in the first game. I find Balloon Boy cute, especially his laugh and 'Hi'. Foxy I find far less appealing but Mangle is cool. Basically though I just love the Marionette for it's slender look and tasteful face paint.
