Welcome to the Kaichou wa maid-sama fan club!
Kaichou wa maid-sama is a cute, funny shōjo anime and manga by Fujiwara Hiro.
Sadly the anime was discontinued, but that doesn't mean we can't enjoy and love Maid-sama!

This thread is for anyone who's read the manga, watched the anime or is interested and just wants to know a bit more.
Everyone is welcome, as long as you don't say anything hurtful or disrespectful.

The story is centred around Ayuzawa Misaki, a strong girl who's fed up with the filthy state of Seika High and becomes the first female student council president in what used to be an all boy's school. Misaki decides to reform the school to make it a better place for the minority population of girls and, hopefully, attract more girls to the school. Misaki has become known as a ruthless demon president among the boys, but that may be threatened due to Usui Takumi, a popular Seika High boy, finding out her secret. Misaki works part time at a Maid Café to support her family.

- Respect other people's opinions. Everyone thinks differently and that's what makes conversation interesting, but you must not force your opinions on others or disrespect the opinions of others.

- Please do not spam. We don't want this thread locked. Make sure you stay on topic and do not have one-sided conversations that nobody can join.

- Warn people about spoilers and make sure they are hard to see. Even though the anime/manga is not ongoing, people (usually) do not like spoilers and it's not fair to leave spoilers out in the open where people can't help but read them.

- Have fun! Join in and interact with others! Enjoy without hurting others or spamming.

I'm actually not sure what to put here. I'm leaving it like this at the moment.

Nickname: You can just call me 'Shanoo', which is what everyone calls me here, but it's alright if you call me whatever you want, as long as it's appropriate and obvious that you're addressing me.
Favourite character: Argh.. This is a bit hard to answer, but I've got to say Ayuzawa Misaki. She's strong, independent and just amazing, so I feel like I'm boasting when I think I'm a bit like her. I do love strong female characters, though and Misaki is a great one, and a feminist too, like me. Like Misaki, I can also be a bit harsh on the boys, while defending females.
Least Favourite character: Why am I asking myself these questions? Ughh.. I don't know.. I'll tell you when I've thought of it.. XD
Ships: Oh no... I shouldn't have included this.. oh well.. so.. first.. the obvious Misaki x Usui, of course! Then there's Aoi x Misaki, Misaki x Tora and of course, Kanou x Yukimura. I may have more.. I'm never sure about my ships..
Anything else? I finished the manga a couple of months ago (but still need to read one special chapter XD) and am on episode 4 of the anime. Arghh.. I wish the anime would cover the whole thing..
