Edit: Before I go I just have to ask you guys what do you think between these people of who wrote the journal:
Stan? Gideon? McGucket? BlindEye? Dipper From The Future?! or Mabel? Which it wouldn't be Mabel sense she would sparkle everything. My main two are Dipper From The Future Or McGucket but it was also very weird how the teaser mentioned "Dipper From The Future?" soooo this could mean somthing, but tell me who do you think out of the picks ;P

The hand thing, however, Mcgucket's cast doesn't cover his hand, only his wrist.

Also, polydactylism is a dominant trait, meaning Stan would likely have extra fingers as well, and most definitely his son.

I can confidently say that Mcgucket is not the author, unless an oversight was made.

I'm also convinced that he isn't related to Stan, regardless. He has a very different body type, this could of course, easily be recessive traits and ect, but it is a strike against it.

Either way, he can't be both.
