Hnn my mother caught me on Chatzy. Of course, nothing bad is ever said, but since it's a chatting site I am not aloud on. Alas, I may check in every once in a while when I am home alone. My mother is uber strict about internet. She thinks CS is a child website (It it, but she thinks it's only collecting pets). I don't want to be banned from CS, so I keep this under intense watch and make sure to log out every time.
Besides from that, how is everyone? I was telling my bus buddy Jack about HRE and how he isn't Holy, Roman nor an Empire and I kept saying he...."Yeah, Holy Roman Empire wasn't Holy, Roman, nor an empire. He was a German." and he stopped me and questioned the he. I felt so awkward. Of course, he knows of Hetalia, but doesn't watch it. Ha, I am so lame.
EDIT;; Btw I have proof that HRE isn't Holy, Roman nor an Empire.
My history teacher told me I was wrong, but I know for a fact I am correct. I had to look it up to make sure I was correct and not giving out false information, since he was the teacher and all, and I found this that seemed pretty accurate.
It was " Kingdom of Germany, the Kingdom of Italy and the Kingdom of Burgundy; territories embracing the present-day Germany (except Southern Schleswig), Austria (except Burgenland), Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, the Czech Republic, Slovenia (except Prekmurje), as well as significant parts of modern France (mainly Artois, Alsace, Franche-Comté, Savoie and Lorraine), Italy (mainly Lombardy, Piedmont, Emilia-Romagna, Tuscany, and Alto Adige-South Tyrol), and Poland (mainly Silesia, Pomerania, and Neumark)." So not Roman.
It was political not religious. So not holy.
It was more of a kingdom than an empire.
Also, I have more:
The Holy Roman Empire refers to the situation under the Hapsburg emperors in German speaking countries between +/- 1300 and 1807 AD.
It wasn't holy: no empire is holy.
It wasn't Roman: it was German(ic).
It wasn't truly an empire, as all the participating states were fully independent. The emperor was nominal head, with even less power than Queen Elisabeth has over the Commonwealth today.
