KID HEADCANONS HELLO I AM HERE

My personal headcanons for the kids bounce around so much. It's almost worrying. One minute Dave Strider is this suave albino who can't even look outside without getting sunburned, and the next he's the equivilant of a suntanned farmhand. Sometimes his skin is a rich dark brown, sometimes it's a light olive color--The same for all the kids. They're like, chameleons, in my head.
Also Redhead Rose is a really great hair color for her and I love seeing her portrayed as a redhead in fanart.
I cant pick a favorite kid. Why would you do this to me. Rose is so great. Dave's amazing. Jade is fantastic. John is superb.
If I had to pick a least favorite, it would probably be John? Though that's not saying a whole lot, because I REALLY like all the kids and their personalities so much.

for kids, i believe that jade/john and rose/dave have the same race because they're supposed to be related. i think that jade would have really tan skin because she's outside all the time, but john would be paler because he's inside all the time. rose would probably be pretty pale, too, but i think dave is best albino.

um, none of the pictures are their headcanon faces/races and whatnot

dave - light tan. stays inside all the time unless he's up on the roof in the texan sun... which is how he gets the light tan. this is also how he gets a solid body, no outrageous muscles, but still
john - fair-skinned because he stays inside a lot. He wishes he had muscles, but it's just not going to happen for him, he's soft.
rose - pale. so so pale. and suitably so, as she prefers the night. lightly muscled, nothing super significant though.
jade - dark tan. she's out on the island all the time! great legs and torso from running around and climbing stairs, with strong arms from carrying guns.
