Queen Cleocatra gave a furious glare to the archeologist, baring her teeth in a hiss.
"You grave-robber! I will not let you get into the bottom chamber and steal my husband's things next!" she snarled, tears forming at the edges of her eyes. She hadn't seen her Pharaoh in so long, he had been locked up in that chamber, far from her grasp. Archie just let out an annoyed huff.
"So I can't even go into my own room?" he replied, rolling his eyes. What? Cleocatra took a step back. His room? Wait... She stared into his eyes. They were so familiar! She gasped out loud, her eyes widening. It couldn't be. Archie, her Pharaoh?!
"Wait... Are you-" she was cut off by Archie.
"Yes! It took you forever to realize it!" he answered, a playful touch to his voice as he gave the queen a goofy smile.
"Th-then why did you take my stuff?"
The reply was simple. "I was cleaning it up to surprise you!" he answered, grinning. Cleocatra took a deep breath in and went up to kiss her long lost husband.
"I've missed you so much..."

This is so bad, agh. x.x

Archie took his beloved out of her
chamber into the buzzing of the beetles. The
queen was moved close to tears at the sight
of her homeland. So much has changed...
"So, dear, how have we done with the
place?" Cleocatra was speechless,
and instead moved foward. Where there
was once a route was a huge dune, stopping
the ruler in her tracks. Archie instead
took the jeweled cat by her pawand led her
around the dunes into a small city. Archie
led her onto the plane. "Archie, stop!"
Cleo choked. Archie paced, worried they would
miss the craft. "What?" Cleo blushed.
" I-it is like no steed I have seen before...
what is it?" Archie merely smiled and
moved her aboard.

Cleocatra arched in surprise when the side wall of her chamber broke through. She stood cautiously, looking through the rubble with interest, when, half covered in sand, she saw the grave robber that had been nosing about inside her pyramid for days, stealing her carefully collected treasures, and now he had the audacity to break into her private chamber. She raced over to him and started hissing "You! How dare you come crashing through here.Filthy grave robber, of course, you would be a dog, as if i would expect such a deed as this from any other animal in my pyramid. not only do you steal my jewels"

Archie could no longer hear her words, he was too entranced by her features, her eyes were a deep shade of blue that were enchanting, her fur a dark black, looking softer than any birds feathers, patterned with hieroglyphics he would love to study. Her jewels were beautiful also but couldn't hold a candle to the vision he saw before him. Archie couldn't believe it, he was actually in the same room as the fabled Cleocatra, and she was beautiful. He took in her face, currently curled into a snarl, which he presumed was at his actions, but this only made his heart soar, she was talking to him, her burning rage only made those deep blue eyes look soulful, and he found himself drawn to them, he couldn't help it, without a word, he closed his eyes and pressed his lips gently against hers.

Cleo sat down, rather carefully. Something was off. Everything was just so... fancy. Archie had invited her over to show her the progress he'd made restoring some items. But everything was decorated. A table sat in the middle of the room, a embroidered cloth over it. There were plush cushions next to it, where she sat. A fancy set of candles sat on the table, with faint hieroglyphics written in it. This wasn't Archie's work room, but she'd followed his instructions exactly.
After a minute or two, Archie stumbled into the room. In his paws was a large silver platter.
"So, Cleo," he says with a bright smile. "What do you think?"
"This is not your workroom," she answers sharply.
She mentally winces as sadness covers his face. That was rude, wasn't it?
"You... you don't like it?" he looks absolutely crestfallen.
"No, no, it's beautiful. I just don't understand. I came to see my treasures restored."
He perks up a bit. "Well, you're looking at one. This candle holder is one of yours."
For a moment, she doesn't say anything. It's perfect, Cleo hadn't even recognized it. Completely untarnished, and that scratch that had bothered her for years was gone. She looks up to see Archie smiling broadly.
"You like it!" Relief on his face is evident. "And now that we've gotten that out of the way," he lights the candles. He lifts the silver lid, reveling a delicious meal. "Will you stay for dinner?"

Ya, you could say I'm bored. xD Kind of a continuation to the others I wrote.
