It seems like it could happen because Hoenn is the only region that has not been remade on the NDS.

Mmhm. Based on the popularity of the remakes, I doubt that Gamefreak will skip Ruby and Sapphire.

Oh man, I've played every Pokemon game ever; that makes me feel old. OTL
The only ones I haven't played are the new Gold/Silver because I'm too poor to buy them. xD

I remember playing Pokemon Yellow on my Gameboy when I was about 5 or 6, I liked how as well as Pikachu you could get all 3 starters within the game. Maybe they should do a remake of it....
