I have a question regarding the roans. Gonna feel stupid if this has been answered before. Anyway my question is this.

To get a Blue Roan, do you have to request the black base and blue roan pelt on separate trait slots?

You have to request that the foal be a roan (general) and you have to request that the foal have a black base. Because black base + roan gene = Blue roan. ^^

So like this right?
1. Filly
2. Black base
3. Blue Roan

I'm asking cause I'm getting Kayla's breeding form lined up now that I have the perfect sire and dam. ^-^

Writing just "roan" is enough though, since the outcome itself from the black base and roan would make a blue roan. xD

I believe so. It's because you can't request "strawberry roan" in one request slot thing because in actuality, that's two requests. Its so no one overrides or cheats the system.

If you were to not request the base, the artist would just choose one from the parents. So if you bred two blue roans together, it wouldn't really matter if you requested the black base because that's all the choices. Really its just to insure that you are getting a blue roan from breeding two different bases of roans.

And yeah Cuore like that ^^

So since I'm breeding Sage and Samael together, I don't technically have to request the black base and blue roan gene?
