“Hey Toothless!” Onna called softly towards him walking closer, he turned and purred, he ran over and tucked his head under hers, she giggled and scratched his head, “Hey Toothless, trying to fly again?” She asked curiously. He nodded eagerly, looking towards the sky. “One day buddy.” She said to him gently following his gaze up to the sky.
He nodded his head, “Can I get a picture?” Onna asked, Toothless tilted his head lightly, nodding as he did. Onna smiled and pulled up her camera and took pictures of him as he rolled around in the grass playfully. She smiled at him, “Well aren’t you handsome” She said, he nodded and smiled back softly, she lay down in the grass beside him, it was nice to have a best friend, he had to agree. “Cookie?” She offered softly, a smile burst across his face as he took it meekly and ate it happily. It was another good day in the life of Toothless.
Onna chuckled a bit at Toothless, “Do you like it?” She asked, Toothless nodded, of course he loved it, why wouldn’t he? After all, Onna had made it just for him. She rolled over her mind filled with thoughts as she stared at the sky, causing Toothless to chirp at her lightly, tilting his head curiously, “mhm?” She asked finally looking at him. He smiled at her happily, “Awh, it’s nothing Toothy” She said, he wasn’t so sure about that though.
He rolled over and walked around standing over her looking down, she blinked and looked up at him a blush spreading across her face. He watched her worriedly, “A-Ah.” She said, she sighed, “I just feel sometimes maybe I am a little to weird.” She said, Toothless moved back and sat down tilting his head confused, narrowing his eyes and giving her a look of, ‘really? You’re the weird one?’. Onna sat up and frowned a bit, “Well you know… sometimes I feel like, I am just the girl behind the camera, and that’s all anyone ever sees.” she said.
Toothless shook his head frantically, how could she possibly think that? She wasn’t to him, she was so nice and kind, and well… cute. She wasn’t weird at all, not one bit, but how could he show her? He smiled and nudged her; she blinked looking up into his eyes. He purred happily and scrambled up a tree, “Toothy?” she asked walking towards the tree watching. He took on a look of confidence and smiled down at her, he took off swiftly and ended up slipping and falling down. Onna gasped, “Toothless!” She yelped and ran over, he was handing upside down to her his foot stuck in a tree they ended up face to face.
Toothless blushes a bit flashing a goofy smile. Onna giggled, blushing a bit, “Hey… I don’t suppose your trying to say you’re the weird one?” She chuckled, Toothless nodded happily, glad to see her laugh even if it was at him. “Toothy.” She said. “I think your perfect the way you are.” she said, “I don’t think your weird, you are unique.” she said. Toothless smiled and poked her nose with his, ‘So are you Onna’ he thought. Onna blushed softly as he did.
