Do you find that the plumies you try for tend to have something in common?
Yup! I try to go for more simpler designs and ones that suit my personality more <3

"No, you're not really going to make me answer this, are you? Ugh... fine. I may or may not have wasted my first cosplay on the Slenderman... I was young and impressionable OK? This was before that whole "Slenderman" stabbing too so... I was a dumb kid at the time, around 14 or 15 years old and I... didn't know better to say the least. Now before you say "what's so wrong about that cosplay?" I haven't actually explained how it was made. I knew NOTHING about crafting costumes at the time. I can't believe I'm saying it but... rather than getting a morph suit for the face, I just stuck a large sock over my head and poked out little eyeholes and a place to breathe. It looked so pathetic... I'm ashamed that I started off my cosplaying journey so poorly. My "tuxedo" was really just a shirt that looked like a tuxedo and the tentacles I applied were really just socks pinned on to the shirt stuffed with paper towel.
That's not the mort embarrassing part though. The most embarrassing part was when I wore it out to a local comic con. The first thing cosplayer saw there was a plumerian with a Slenderman cosplay that far out shined mine. So many people were asking for their picture while only a group of sarcastic teenagers took a picture of mine as a joke to spread around Facebook. The worst part was when I accidentally tripped the super cool cosplayer and they completely fell over me and we ended up in a giant pile of Slender. I was tormented. OK no, change the title of this section to "most traumatic life event ever that nobody could ever top because it is bloody scary. Tripping cool people and having them stare at you for the rest of the day is traumatizing when you have a sock over your head."
