(ALL COSPLAYERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) I'm getting blackout contacts soon(for my 2D cosplay) and I've never had contacts before. Costume nor prescription. Any tips or things I should buy? (It comes with a free contact case so I'm not worried about that)

I can get manga at one of my local stores for 13 bucks but then I look on amazon and their maybe 3-4 dollars. So then I facepalm and think, hey, I could've gotten the same thing for 9 dollars less ;~:

Try to support your local store if possible though before Amazon kills it ;)

At my local store, manga is more expensive than from Amazon, except the Amazon shipping costs make it more or less the same and sometimes more expensive than the local store, but the local store doesn't have most of the manga I'm looking for, so I get most of my manga from Amazon, but I sometimes check the store first ;) .

In Germany we have fixed book prices so Amazon can't sell books cheaper, though I'm not sure if that also goes for manga.
I buy my books at local stores, besides hard to get ones. I only buy other things over Amazon, though I would rather get them elsewhere as well. So far I didn't buy any manga, only a few anime, because I buy more games and colours, but one day I will have a very huge bookshelf...

Make sure to buy solution to clean he contacts with after every use, or after a few weeks of no use. Always change the liquid your contacts are in as well.
A tip for cleaning the contacts would be to either put them between your thumb and index finger, or else your palm and index finger, and gently rub the contact. Make sure to have either the solution or liquid on the contact before doing this, or else it'll tear. Do this for about 10-20 seconds, depending on how long you used them, etc.
And make sure your hands are clean before handling.

I try to buy manga in store, but they don't always have the volumes I need DX
I bought most of my FMA manga, half of the Zelda manga, a few volumes of Naruto, most of my Bleach, all 4 volumes of Meru Puri, and a few other random mangas in Forbidden planet. I also got a few volumes of the Zelda manga in Waterstones.
I only buy manga on Amazon if they don't have the ones I need, or if my parents are buying them for me.

but tbh it's just the r popular junk like pokemon adventures, death note, long running shounens etc etc
i love pokemon adventures though aaa except i barely even read manga
but there's no local book stores lmao bc i live in a small town it is small and cosy

except there's a good jb hifi half an hour away though, there's nice anime dvds there for good prices B)
i've never actually used Amazon though, surprisingly.

i've never even read pokemon adventures, I should give it a try!
i don't read a lot of manga (i picked up Death Note in the library once and it took me a good five minutes to figure out I was reading it backwards /facepalm)
