I have also been buzzing through Descendants Of Darkness. I started watching it a while ago (well 1 episode) and didn't like it because I didn't understand the weird bird things (still don't) but I thought I would give it another look and the plot is pretty awesome. Plus I can't help but ship Hisoka and Asato. Plus I freaking love Muraki...maybe I am a little weird for loving the bad guys and a psychopath but I can't help but think he is so interesting!

I've never seen Digimon, but it sounds like Pokemon (don't get angry)

I have watched a bit of Shogo Chara, but I hooked off when I saw the great amount of episodes I had to watch DX

i've been watching this anime this girl in my school suggested to me: i thought she was just messing with me and made up some stupid name, bc honestly we're not the best of friends- but its a real anime and its really good!! i don't think its done updating, so its pretty new. its a slice of life anime but its super good. uwu. its called sora no method!!

Hey, lets talk about childhood anime! Mine was mostly Bakugan, and a few other anime in that genre, like YuGiOh and Dinosaur King. There wasn't any other anime in TV. That's what you get when you live in the Netherlands.

Mine was pokemon, I would always rewatch the episodes even though I've already seen it ;v; other than that it was dragon ball z that I didn't really get what was happening, because they wouldn't play the episodes in order but...

I watched a little bit of Yu Gi Oh but not enough to say I really watched it

My childhood anime is definitely Pokemon. It was also the first anime I ever watched (even though I couldn't watch it until I was ten).

Nah, you don't need to play the games to understand Digimon at all. At least not the first few seasons. Then I stopped watching, so IDK about the more recent ones. I didn't play the games until I was older.

It's really nothing like Pokemon, honestly. For one thing, Digimon takes place in our world and the existence of Digimon is secret.

But also, at least the first two seasons of Digimon have way more character developement and plot than Pokemon does. It does a lot more complex things with the art and storyline than Pokemon ever did. As a kid, I really appreciated seeing other kids my age struggling with parents divorce and making friends. These were things I struggled with too so it made me feel less invisible as I bore my loneliness and negative emotions following my parents divorce.

I love Pokemon too don't get me wrong. And I think the pokemon games were way better. Just the Digimon anime had way more substance and satisfied me more on an emotional level than just an entertainment level
