i started watching orenchi no furo jijou. i like the art style and the character designs a lot and i know i will love the to be released episodes (cause i've read the manga) but i don't understand the opening?? x'd lmao what is such a dramatic opening doing at the beginning of a totally light slice of life anime?? heh

FullMoon's opening looks like a show for kids, fluffy and funny and yet the main girl gets told that she only as one year left in the first episode.
Same goes for Nadia (so many people die in it and yet the opening looks like an adventure - love the opening so much).

Dango, dango, dango, dango, dango daikazoku...
(I haven't watched Clannad, but the closing song is literally a song about colourful tofu. Still great though.)

Long time no post. Has anyone seen Blood Lad? I just watched episode 1 and it seems pretty good, and funny. XD
Sorry for my slow response time on RP's. My new job steals ALL my time. :(

Does any of you have an anime recommendation for me? I loved Fruits Basket (my first anime: I got into it last year) and I was looking for something with a similar balance between humor and serious plot, and also between sad/serious and happy moments. I also liked how overall it was a positive anime.

I don't really want anything too depressing, and I'm also not looking for violence, horror or "adult romance" (though I don't think you guys would actually recommend a violent/horror anime based on my love for Fruits Basket :P ). I also don't want an anime with (almost) only girls, unless they are really interesting, since I usually prefer male characters in anime for some reason.

I love when anime characters have a lot of personality, so I'm not really looking for a superficial or predictable romance anime either.

I also enjoyed Ouran High School Host Club and Hetalia. I should actually watch the rest of Hetalia, but I'm looking more for something with more of a plot right now.

I highly suggest Free! Iwatobi Swim Club. c; And also Barakamon! Barakamon is really, really cute.

I like blood lad a lot, but the manga updates once a century.
it's reaaaaaally slow.

the anime is very good though.
I like the smoothness of the animation.

Tsuritama for everyone aye

More really solid and significant character development pack into it than even freaking 500 episode long anime have

Incredible balance of laugh out loud humor with sob out loud heartbreak

Tsuritama is just dang good

Yeah there are only like.... 4 girl characters in Tsuritama? But they aren't in it much. They're rad characters on their own, though. I mean Tsuritama is made by the director of Gatchaman Crowds and Hajime is the most perf protagonist ever so I feel like he gets a pass for holding out on the ladies with Tsuritama

Also prepare for feels man cuz dang

hmm have you seen free! because that sounds like something you'd like
mostly guy characters, with fun bits and humor but also angsty parts (seriously, warning for angsty second season).
there's also no real romance except for a couple of guys trying a failing to hit on girls. though there are homosexual undertones and there's loadssss of possibly gay ships. though none of them are actually confirmed as a relationship and there's not much real focus on them throughout the anime.
nothing adult either except its a swimming anime so they're shirtless a fair bit.
hi hello i'm not really active on here anymore
if you wanna keep in touch just hmu for my social media links
