I only know the manga Derby Queen and maybe Wolf's Rain.

Now, that I thing about it, there is also that funny little dog in Howl's Moving Castle XD
Looking through this list I also found a series called Dog & Scissors (eng sub on youtube), which sounds funny (reminds me of a something I saw on tv years ago).

Thought it was Panda cafe, looked it up and it's Shirokuma Cafe.

Shirokuma Cafe (which is Polar Bear Cafe not Panda Cafe) is HILARIOUS. I recommend it very highly, but it's not really something I can imagine a person getting really involved in fandom-wise. It's just silly and weird and cute.

It's about a polar bear who owns a cafe. A lazy, fat, teenage panda is forced to get a job by his mother, and he tries to work at that cafe. Because he has no skills, he is rejected from the job. Instead he gets a job at the local zoo as a part time panda. The other characters include an alcoholic penguin, a llama who feels unloved by the other characters, and a sloth who is always late to the fun. There are other equally weird characters. It's just bizarre and great.
