And like I said dubbing isn't worth the time and money for most companies unless you know it will be a hit, like doing an SnK dub makes sense due to the popularity of the series as a whole but while KHR was hugely popular in Japan during it's 3rd and 4th arc it was never big overseas so despite the actual popularity over there it wouldn't have been worth the time, money, and effort to try and dub something overseas that wasn't in any sort of demand.

Sometimes dubs seem to take about a year or so... IDK because anime barely gets shown on TV here.

On FUNimations website, Dragon Ball 1 is TV-14, and Dragon Ball Z is TV-PG...

On the subject of dubs: TV Tropes has an entire page of dubless licensed animes.

Why is One Piece a slice of life anime according to FUNimaion?

Genres can be very different from site to side. Not sure if Slice of Life is only for realistic animes or also if it's also for animes/mangas that focus on the life of the characters.

And Black Cat is good as far as I watched (another of those animes that I need to finish).

It's not that I dislike sub, it's just that... I DON'T WANT TO START A DEBATE. DX
I will watch sub if I have to and still enjoy it, though, like with AnoHana.
(Seriously, though, there are some really terrible fansubs out there. Like in a fansub of one anime, a kid screams "It took my arm!" ...while we see the ketchup-flavoured place where his leg used to be. Even if Japanese for arm and leg happen to sound similar, IDK what Japanese for arm and leg are, you could've at least used common sense, fansubbers...)

fansubbers do p good tho. sure some things have like 2987773 translations [ESPECIALLY IF IT'S DANGAN RONPA] but how about you go learn japanese.

Japanese is a difficult language to translate and the subbers do a great job, plus they're doing it for FREE without ANY profit to them whatsoever like cut them a break for making a mistake for something they're only doing because they love anime while the dubs are done for profit.

And Japanese seiyuus just have a better grasp of emotion and strength in their voices I enjoy listening to them whether I understand Japanese or not because I just get more of a feel for them, some dubs are great like Death Note I LOVE the DN dub but a lot of dubs are so second rate because the voice acting is so...flat.

ALSO SEIYUUS ARE COOL LIKE THE KHR SEIYUUS HAVE CHARACTER SONGS AND PREFORMED ON STAGE LIVE WITH YEARLY CONCERTS AND THEY"RE ALL SO FUNNY AND ENERGIZED AND AMAZING.

I LOVE SEIYUUS I WOULD NOT TRADE THE KHR CAST FOR THE WORLD.

Yeah, Japanese can be very difficult and plus for one to become a voice actor they gotta put emotion into it. People say take a drama club or something.
GO VOICE ACTORS/ACTRESSES.
