Im in the same boat. Though I was somewhat surprised on how much they fit into one episode. But I guess I shouldn't be surprised, seeing how his hair was already white at some points in the trailers..

Umm... I've been too lazy to watch anime today until now. X3 I'm about to watch more AnoHana!

EDIT: I just realized that in the fansubbed version of FMA03 that's used on AnimeHere they somehow mistranslated "leg" as "arm". ("It took my arm" ...and we see the place where Edward's leg used to be) Unfortunately I can't post a screenshot because blood, so you're just going to have to take my word for it.

Honestly I think it looks fitting with white or black hair. Though the white hair is certainly something I like seeing that he was somewhat driven to the edge of madness after all the torture he underwent.
